Sophia is an actress with a versatile yet consistent talent.  Born in England to a Spanish mother and British father, she speaks Spanish fluently and has striking mediterranean features mixed seamlessly with soft English colouring.  Sophia was brought up in an international environment predominantly in Aberdeen, Scotland, and as such has flair for accents and an eye for cultural details.  She started acting at a young age when she landed her first role as the lead in a stage production of Annie.  Since that first role, she has appeared in numerous musicals and plays with various fringe and theatre groups and has successfully crossed media into film and television.  Her experience coupled with her professional attitude, as well as her ability to adhere to direction while still bringing her own qualities to the characters she gives life and animation to, has gained her a reputation as a reliable and dedicated actress with the ability to produce outstanding results.  Recently, the feature film The Zombie Diaries was released worldwide and the films The Providence Tape, Seeing is Believing and Requiem Recurring have been selected to be screened at up-coming film festivals.  Additionally, the short film Mascara, in which Sophia plays the lead role, recently won Best Film Under 5 Mins. In 2009, Sophia featured in the Transitions commercial for the Republic of Ireland's Lisbon Treaty and she has also been cast as the lead in the thriller feature film LILLY, which is currently in pre-production.
